ArtistShare is very pleased to announce the launch of The Clayton Brothers - Brother to Brother project!

"Brother to Brother is actually a brilliant brainstorm of Jeff, my brother. Believe me, it's really hard to admit that your brother can come up with an idea you like. His idea was to find songs composed by and/or performed by some of the many brother groups in jazz (and yes, we're looking at researching our fabulous sisters and extended family members in the future!). We take those songs, rearrange them so they have a Clayton Brothers spin to them and make them our own. We also did a lot of composing, writing songs that were influenced by these brother combinations."

BLAST is the story of why we keep pushing forward – a story of how faith turns into science, and how science sometimes runs on faith. This is a story about people doing whatever it takes to overcome the randomness of life on earth to explore the order of the cosmos, even if that means dangling a multimillion dollar telescope from a balloon and sending it flying across the Arctic.

Todd Coolman has formed a powerhouse quintet including ERIC ALEXANDER - Tenor Saxophone, BRIAN LYNCH – Trumpet, JIM MCNEELY – Piano, TODD COOLMAN – Bass, and JOHN RILEY – Drums for his latest ArtistShare project. This quintet will rehearse and record original compositions submitted by you through the ArtistShare Learning Community Project. Todd will choose and develop the finest of these submissions and record them on a forthcoming CD for worldwide distribution. The entire process will be documented from beginning to end, providing an intimate look into the group’s creative process as they develop and record the music.
