Ron Carter received the French Order of Arts and Literature Award at Ministere de la Culture on January 12, 2010 in Paris, France. The award, presented by Minister of Culture and Communication Frederic Mitterrand, is the highest honor France bestows upon those who have "significantly contributed to the enrichment of the French cultural inheritance."

Ron was recently the subject of ArtistShare's first fan-funded book by leading author Dan Ouellette, "Finding the Right Notes".   Participate in the project today and receive the book via mail or Kindle format (coming soon).
